SEN Baseline Assessment

SEN Baseline Assessment

(0)
This resource assesses pupils with an EHCP when they join a new school or education establishment. It records the level that a pupil is functioning at and can help a new school understand the support that they need going forwards (at their new school). This assessment can then be re-assessed year on year against the initial baseline to demonstrate progress against the baseline and the students entry into a new education establishment (also attached in this document). Always useful when Ofsetd or the LEA needs evidence of a pupils progress.

Primary school or SEN School Competition (Art, DT, English, PE & History)

This resource would work so well in a special school setting or a Primary School Setting. The idea is that any students level of work is celebrated across a range of subjects as varied as DT, English, Art, PE and History. This internal competition has been well received by staff, students , parents and Ofsted alike. Each day would have a specific focus (e.g. Monday-Baking) and groups would be pitted against each other in a school to try and win points for their internal house or trophies/medals for their class. Will help with getting students to practice their class based skills in a friendly competitive environment. The outline will help provide a guide to the week and the session plans will help you get the week running as soon as you download it. Would link well with any historical event.
